Golf

Rotate again. Finish the round.

Golf is rotation under load. When the lead hip or thoracic spine stops contributing, the lumbar spine and elbow try to finish the swing.

Care is built around the swing you actually make — walking 18 in Florida heat included — not a generic “golfer package.”

Sarasota County still has real public golf. Bobby Jones downtown, Lake Venice on the island, Misty Creek and the Meadows east of town, Heron Creek in North Port, Sarasota National, and Wellen Park. Say the course and how many rounds a week. The plan has to survive the next tee time.

What we treat in the swing

Lead hip and the finish

If the lead hip will not clear, the lumbar spine and the trail elbow try to finish the swing. We restore the turn so the ball is not the only thing that gets through.

Low back on the downswing

Extension plus rotation is the golf pattern, not a desk injury. Care has to let you play this week, not sit out a month.

Golfer’s elbow

Medial elbow pain after extra rounds is often a grip and a shoulder problem wearing an elbow name. We calm the tendon and change the load.

Thoracic rotation

A stiff mid-back makes the lumbar spine do the turn. We get the chest moving so the low back can stop volunteering.

Wrist at impact

Fat shots, range mats, and a tight grip load the wrist. We screen the elbow and neck so you are not treating a messenger.

Walking 18 in the heat

A cart hides how much the hip and back do between shots. Walking Florida golf is part of the plan, not a footnote.

Knee after a full round

Hills, soft lies, and a closed stance load the knee when the hip is already tired. We treat the chain, not a brace-and-hope plan.

Return after a flare-up

A week of range balls on a hot tendon is how a niggle becomes a season. We set the next round so it does not restart the pain.
